In this case study, we’re going to talk about an interesting patient who came to replace all of the teeth of her upper jaw with implants. We’ve treated her mother in the past with a similar restoration. Her mom was so happy with the results that she recommended her daughter to come get her teeth restored with us as well. Prior to the visit, this lady had to undergo a surgery to remove all of her upper teeth due to severe blood loss and her teeth being so mobile that it was impossible to speak without moving the upper teeth with her lips. Eating was also impossible for her as well.
This whole situation unwrapped during COVID. The patient tried to hide this issue under her mask, however; the time came where she had to go back to work, so she decided to make changes. We removed her upper teeth with the immediate placement of 6 implants. After the healing stage, we exposed her implants and stated in the fabrication of brigades to be supposed and retained by her implants.
Now this wonderful lady has a Hollywood smile and probably tries to display it anytime she can! Needless to say, she can chew absolutely everything her heart desires! It was a gratifying experience to work with her and to enable her to smile once again!
