In this case study, Dr. Alena Nawrocki spotlights Tamera’s case, one of our recent full mouth restoration patients. Tamera came to us with only six teeth intact. Tamera is a happy and sweet individual. But right off the bat, you can tell that she lacked confidence. She came in with photos from her younger years, and in them, you can tell just how vibrant she used to be. During her consultation, she told us that her father was currently in a nursing home and was rapidly declining health. He wanted to leave her with something she always wanted, and that was a new smile. We set up an appointment and a deadline to fix her teeth as soon as possible, but unfortunately, he passed before seeing it.
For Tamara’s cosmetic dental procedure, we gave her a fixed bridge on her bottom teeth, a lower partial denture, and a complete upper denture. As you can see in the before and after photo, this cosmetic denture made quite a dramatic transformation. Not only did this dental restoration give her a new smile, but it also revitalized her entire face. Previously, her face looked sunken in, causing her to look much older than she was. This complete cosmetic dental procedure changed her life. And even though her father has passed, he has given her quite the gift that we know will keep her smiling for years to come.
