In this case study, we’ll go over a complete dental transformation of a female patient. This lady came to the office with a mouth full of broken teeth. She was absolutely terrified. She told us that every time she goes to a dentist, it’s one tooth pulled out after another and another until. She saw no point in that strategy and decided to get a permanent solution to her smile. So she told us that she wanted to remove all of her teeth and get full dentures. We inspected her teeth thoroughly and analyzed which teeth could be saved and which ones couldn’t. After the analysis, we came up with alternative treatment plans that offered her the aesthetics and functionality she was looking for. After showing her all of her options, the treatment plan she felt most confident and financially comfortable with was complete upper dentures. Her lower teeth were in better condition, so she made the smart decision to find a solution for her upper teeth.
The patient made the decision and was ready to move forward. However, she was paralyzingly terrified. We decided to use a little bit of sedation on her. So we sedated her with a pill to ensure that she underwent a comfortable treatment without any anxiety or pain. We extracted her six upper teeth and immediately delivered the complete upper dentures. She was ecstatic that it did not hurt and that it took such a short amount of time to totally transform her smile! She was delighted with the look of teeth and was happy that she had a positive experience.
